Well for my first post I suppose I should introduce myself. I am an Irish American Redhead who is a wife, a mother, and until recently a housewife. I work at a local convenience store because its, well convenient. Also in my little small town neck of the woods, there are not a lot of options for employment. I am actually quite grateful for my little job.
I have many varied interests and I'm sure they will color this blog very well. I am a democrat, and am very proud that my birth country (USA) voted for President Obama. I am a dual national sharing citizenship between USA and Ireland. I am a fifth (give or take) generation Irish American who wound up marrying a native born Irishman, (who is also a redhead...and did I mention our kids are too?!) I have post nuptial Irish citizenship, but believe me my heart has been an Irish Citizen since before I entered this earthly plain.
I am also pagan, sometimes Witchy, and deeply spiritual. Sometimes I have an all encompassing belief in specific aspects of deity and sometimes I feel like 'God/ess' is a more generalised being. Whatever way I am feeling, I always feel that deity is very real and always near.
Lets see I write poetry, short stories, draw, (fairly well) and have a mind that has several tracks of thought that drive me crazy most of the time.
I ADORE coffeehouses, espresso drinks and GOOD tea. I may even take to reviewing some of my favorite coffee's and coffeehouses in this blog.
I hope I can add something useful or at least borderline entertaining to the blogging world, and I look forward to getting into a regular habit of posting and getting to know other bloggers.
